New Patient Information

Mount Medical Centre will not be prescribing drugs of potential abuse or similar medicines as follows.

• Opioids
• Benzodiazepines
• Stimulants

• No results will be provided over the phone or by mail to ensure that results are properly communicated in a thorough manner.

• It is very IMPORTANT that you phone us to check your test results. These are generally available 3 days after your test. Do not assume that your results are ok or that we will contact you. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have received your results.

• No information shall be collected at the Mount Medical Centre without patient written or implied consent
• All patient information collected shall be used to provide a comprehensive approach to patient care
• If there are concerns regarding information collected at the Mount Medical Center and how it is used please discuss the issues with the Practice Manager or one of the doctors.
